It was a brand-new hotel. The staff were supper friendly and exceptionally nice, gave us great tips. Our room was good-sized and newly furnished, included with a fantastic shower, a dressing table plus a huge bed, had a very nice stay. The location was good in a very quiet area, adjacent to the Apple Inn. Also, Lone Star Flight Museum was 3 miles away from the venue.

The location was fantastic, right by Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Alnwick and Bamburgh castles and the pub and restaurant serving good selection of meals. The room was great-sized and newly furnished and there were facilities, including iron/ironing board, coffee and tea making equipment, and television.

Staying in the Shepherds Hut was cozy and comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a short getaway. I found breakfast options limited and experienced some delays in service during dinner, which affected the overall dining experience.

The staff were excellent, especially claire, who helped us replace our flat tyre with such compassion. The food was great for both breakfast and dinner. It's conveniently close to the school house restaurant. The recent extension adds an extra charm to the place.

Perfect for families!
The D'arcy room was super spacious for us, even had 2 TVs for the kids. Everything was clean and tidy. We loved the tea and coffee setup in the room. Breakfast in the school house was something else, really tasty! Only bummer was the parking. It got a bit crowded sometimes.
